At Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park you can visit the friendliest wild Aussie animals, with over 180 species roaming free and happy in the bush. Why not come and visit our ancient Aboriginal sites and learn how to connect with the land? Here are just some of the reasons why everyone loves Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park ...

Tassie Devils

The latest additions to our growing family are already a hit with rangers and visitors alike!  Our Tasmanian devils are best seen during the afternoon show (3:30pm on weekends or holidays, 2:30pm on weekdays) or during our Wild Sleep-Out nocturnal tours (by arrangement), but lucky visitors have reported seeing them at various times during the day.

Everyone, please, we need your help to save us from forced closure due to sandmining activity on our border.

You can make a difference. We must persuade the Hon. Tony Kelly, NSW Minister for Planning, to stop Rocla NZ from putting in a new sand mine which will destroy Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park.

Right now we need volunteers to run the cafe and visitor centre

Do you like making light meals and keeping everything clean and tidy?  Can you be available regularly a day or two per week or fortnight?  Sometimes things are pretty busy.  At other times there's time to sit on the veranda and drink tea with the animals.  Perhaps you have a friend who would like to volunteer with you.  Just call or email us.  Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.
