Everyone, please, we need your help to save us from forced closure due to sandmining activity on our border.
You can make a difference. We must persuade the Hon. Tony Kelly, NSW Minister for Planning, to stop Rocla NZ from putting in a new sand mine which will destroy Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park.
Please click on the photo of the Pademelon (below) to find out more and what you can do.

Experience Walkabout Park at night. Guided by the rangers, enjoy an interactive mammal and reptile encounter, spot the nocturnal animals, enjoy a bush tucker BBQ, listen to stories while toasting marshmallows around the campfire, sleep out in comfort under canvas, wake to a bush breakfast, then go 'behind the scenes' with the rangers.

The half hourly talks, tours and workshops are great family fun for the school holidays!
For Vacation Care and other groups of 10 or more we can run a special holiday program just for you. Bookings are essential, so call us to pre-arrange your adventure.

We have various volunteer programs for international and local volunteers to suit most age groups and interests.

Right now we need volunteers to run the cafe and visitor centre
Do you like making light meals and keeping everything clean and tidy? Can you be available regularly a day or two per week or fortnight? Sometimes things are pretty busy. At other times there's time to sit on the veranda and drink tea with the animals. Perhaps you have a friend who would like to volunteer with you. Just call or email us. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.
